Contributor: Jesse Vislisel, MD

The Ophtec 311 intraocular lens implant features a colored body and haptics to simulate the appearance of an iris.  These photographs show the pre- and post-operative appearance of a patient with congenital aniridia who underwent extraction of her anterior polar cataract and implantation of one of these lenses.  Read the related case report for more information about aniridia and its management.
