S. Bilal Ahmed, MD

Dr. Bilal Ahmed graduated from the University of Iowa Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences residency program in June 2025. He is currently completing a Cataract, Refractive, and Anterior Segment Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Eye Clinic in Cleveland, OH.

Dr. Ahmed became a member of the EyeRounds Editorial Board in Spring 2023 and served as the Chief Medical Editor from July 2024-June 2025.
