This is a 40-year-old male referred for cataract evaluation. He complained of blurred vision and photosensitivity. His visual acuity is 20/400 in this eye. On exam he had a unilateral anterior polar cataract combined with central posterior subcapsular cataract with mild cortical changes. He elected to proceed with cataract extraction.
